Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Ramus: the website, the dashboard, Android devices we host, the ramus-cli command-line tool, the API, the MCP server, the GitHub App and shared device links (together, “the service”). Using the service in any way means you accept these terms, our Acceptable Use Policy and our Privacy Policy.

If you use Ramus for an organization, you accept these terms for that organization and confirm you are allowed to.

You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract. You may not use Ramus if we have suspended you, or if the law where you live prohibits it.

You sign in with GitHub. You are responsible for activity under your account and your API keys. Keep keys secret, and revoke a key from Settings if you think it has leaked.

A shared device link works like a password: anyone who has it can watch and control that device until the link expires. Share links only with people you intend to give that access.

Trial keys from the CLI are for trying Ramus. They are limited and expire.

Anything a coding agent or script does with your account or API keys counts as your action under these terms. Give each agent its own key so you can revoke it on its own. Output an agent produces with Ramus is your content.

Do not resell access to Ramus, share keys between accounts, or work around rate limits. We may change or version the API, CLI and MCP server. ramus-cli is open source under the MIT License; these terms govern the service it connects to.

You keep all rights to the apps, source code, files and data you bring to Ramus (“your content”). You must have the right to upload and run it, as the Acceptable Use Policy describes.

You give us permission to host, copy, build, install, run and display your content only as needed to provide the service to you and to the people you share it with, to keep the service secure, to enforce these terms, and to understand and improve Ramus, including through the analytics described in the Privacy Policy. We recommend testing with test accounts and test data rather than real people’s personal data. This permission ends when your content is deleted, except for copies we must keep for security, abuse investigation or legal reasons.

If you connect the GitHub App, Ramus reads the repositories you select to build pull request previews and posts a status comment on those pull requests. You can remove repositories or uninstall the App on GitHub at any time.

You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. Ramus is for building, testing and reviewing Android apps. It is not a cloud phone or gaming service.

The service has usage limits, such as how many devices you can run at once, how long an idle device stays up and how large an upload can be. Current limits are on the pricing page. We may change them.

Ramus is in alpha and currently free. Features may change, break or be removed, devices may end unexpectedly, and data on a device is discarded when its session ends. Do not rely on Ramus to store anything you cannot recreate. There is no service-level agreement, uptime commitment or support obligation during the alpha.

If we introduce paid plans, we will tell you before any charge applies, and paid use will need your agreement to the prices at that time.

Ramus works with services we do not control, such as GitHub, the coding agents you connect and the apps you install. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms. Android and Google system images are provided by Google under Google’s licenses.

If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without any obligation to you.

You can stop using Ramus at any time. To delete your account, email privacy@ramus.dev; we complete verified requests within 30 days.

We may refuse an upload, end a session, restrict features, or suspend or close an account if we believe it breaks these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, puts the service or other users at risk, or if we are required to by law. We will usually tell you why and how to appeal, unless that would compromise security or an investigation. We may also discontinue the service; if we do, we will give reasonable notice where we can.

Sections that by their nature should survive, including your content, disclaimers, limitation of liability and indemnity, continue after your use ends.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, or that an app behaves on Ramus as it does on a physical device.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Ramus, its operators and anyone who works on it are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim, or US$100.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

If someone brings a claim against us because of your content, your breach of these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, or your violation of the law or someone else’s rights, you agree to cover the reasonable costs, including legal fees, that result, to the extent the law allows. We will tell you promptly about the claim and let you help defend it.

You may not use Ramus if you are located in a country or region under comprehensive US sanctions, are on a US restricted-party list, or act for someone who is. You are responsible for complying with export laws that apply to the apps you run.

We may update these terms. The version and effective date above change when we do, and we will tell you about material changes by email or a notice in the dashboard at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use Ramus after that means you accept the updated terms.

We may transfer these terms, your account and your data to a company we form to run Ramus or to a successor to the service. You may not transfer them without our consent.

These terms, the Acceptable Use Policy and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the service. If part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a term right away, we have not given up the right to enforce it later.
