Ramus vs Genymotion SaaS.Cloud Android devices in your browser.

Both run virtual Android devices in the cloud that you use from a browser and drive over adb. Genymotion offers many Android versions and hardware profiles; Ramus adds an MCP server for coding agents and share links that need no account.

Where they differ.

Starting out. Genymotion's free option is a 60-minute trial you request.4 Ramus has 30 free minutes every month, and a 15-minute CLI trial with no account.

Agents. Genymotion's agent skills drive devices through gmsaas and adb on the agent's machine.9 Ramus agents can use a remote MCP server instead, so they need no Android tools, and the CLI when they have a shell. See Connect an agent.

Sharing. Genymotion invites people to a running device by email, and its web player SDK embeds a device in a page you build and host.7,8 A Ramus link opens in any browser, gives each person their own device or joins them to yours, brings their notes back with a screenshot and the device log, and can be revoked on its own.

Range. Genymotion covers Android 9 to 16, arm64 images and many hardware profiles.5 Ramus runs one Android 17 emulator configuration.

Questions.

Does Ramus run ARM-only apps?

Ramus devices are x86_64 emulators. Apps that ship only 32-bit ARM native code may not install or start. Genymotion SaaS offers arm64 devices.

Can I connect adb to a Ramus device?

Yes. The ramus adb command tunnels the device to the adb on your computer, as gmsaas does for Genymotion.

Which is cheaper?

It depends on how many hours you run. Genymotion charges $0.06 a minute per device, or a monthly price per device. Ramus Pro is $10 a month for unlimited minutes on up to two devices, for your own development and testing.

Can Ramus choose the Android version or device model?

No. Every Ramus device runs Android 17 in one configuration.
